The Bear's Mouth

I read "The Bear's Mouth" written by Rob Waring and Mauric Jamall.

"How many flags do you have?" asks David. Faya says, "We have six."
"We have six, too," says Kerry. "So, there's only one more flag."
"Where?" asks Gemma. "Maybe the flag's in here. Let's go in!"
Gemma runs into the cave. She wants to find the flag. Suddenly, they hear a loud sound from the cave.

The main characters in this story are six students. They were participating in an activity at a summer camp. It was a very fun flag search.
They were divided into two teams and had to search for the flag. The green team is David, Jenny, and Kerry, and they help each other and all member of it had a good time. On the other hand, the red team is Gemma, Faya, and Ryan, and they don't help each other because they are too busy looking for the flag
in order to win.
Both teams have found a lot of flags in different places. Using a rope given to them beforehand skillfully, a member of the green team took the flag that the red team did not take. After both teams had obtained an  equal number of flags, they came to the last place. The last place was a cave which was named "The Bear's Mouth". They couldn't see into the cave from the outside because it was very dark inside. Gemma, a member of the red team, was thinking only of winning, so she tried to run into the cave to get the flag. Then she and other students heard a loud sound in the cave, as if it was an animal voice...

It was fun to read this story. Two teams have different styles and of course, I prefer the green team's one. I want to join these activity helping each other and having good time to all member.  Now, we can't travel freely because of Coronavirus, so I envy students in this story.
And I also think that in this story, Gemma is described bad girl student, so I don't like her in this story and other stories too.
