The Lost Wallet

 I read "The Lost Wallet" written by Rob Waring and Maurice Jamall.

"What are you doing with that guitar?" asked John.
Eric's face went red. "Umm... Well, I bought it."
"You didn't buy it with Mr. Harris's money, did you?" asked John.
"Well..." said Eric. 

 The main characters in this story are Eric and John. Their teacher is a person who gives them a lot of tests. They don't like the tests and they hate their teacher, Mr. Harris too.
 When they are told that they have a test the next day, instead of studying, they compete with each other on a skateboard. They decided that the one who faster on the skateboard would win and the one who lost would buy their opponent juice.  But when they compete, John's skateboard was broken by big stone. he was really disappointed.  As Eric's suggestion, they decided to go to the shop and get it fixed, but the shopkeeper advised John to buy a new one. However he didn't have enough money to do it. And they were waiting for the bus on their way home, and then they saw Mr. Harris, hurrying to get on the bus. Then they noticed that he had dropped his wallet. Eric wanted to buy a new guitar with his money, but John stopped him. And Eric promised John that he would return it tomorrow in class. But John noticed that something was strange with Eric. So He went to Eric's house to check it. And he found him with his new guitar and he was enjoying his music. He even has a new skateboard by his side, which made John very angry. The next day at school, John decided to take the Mr. Harris wallet from Eric and return it to his teacher. But then John had an idea. It was not a good idea.

 I think that John was a nice boy and perfect boy, if he didn't do such a thing. And Eric is a bad boy and nobody can help him, because he had done what people must not do. After I read this story, I think that the ending is a good one, so I think Eric had also good aspect to human. And if I see someone drop their wallet, I will take it to someone soon, quickly from now.

Goldilocks and the Bears

I chose the story "Goldilocks and the Bears" as my first review.  The story consists of three good bears and one bad girl. One day, when the bears left their home to go to the forest, a girl entered their house and did whatever she wanted, even if it wasn't good . After a while, the bears return and notice that someone is at home without their permission. I couldn't say the ending, but it was a very interesting story and the same time, it reminded me of my childhood when I did bad thing as this girl did in this story.

Good time in Global Lounge

~ Global Lounge ~ I visited the Global Lounge and  there were a lot of tools for students to study English. For example, there w ere DVDs, books, English games, iPad and magazines and so on. While I visited there, I read the pop-up picture book ”Alice in wonderland”. The books included many big pictures each page. I enjoyed the book because I rarely see such books. It was fun!    And also, I used a iPad to know what contents was included. The iPad included many content such as games, electric books and apps to listen to English. I experienced game which modeled on Riding Red Hood story. That was a amazing. I could learn English, enjoying games. The game has instructions written in English. So if there is a word that I don't know the meaning, I don't look it up and I guess it without looking it up myself. Because I want to keep playing the game. In Global Lounge, I had good and fun time, being surrounded by English contents. I am going to visit there again.

ER2021 #2 (Apr.29)

I read this book, "The Long Tunnel" written by John Milne 'Paul's in the cottage,' Sheila whispered to Charles. 'And he's a prisoner.' Four men carried all the bags into the cattage. They closed the door behind them and locked it. The main charcter of this book is Paul, Sheila and Charles. One day, Paul invited them to his uncle's cottage for 1 week because his uncle wouldn't there. They decided to go there, and they and Paul were planned for the day. That day,  Paul was supposed to go nearby station for them, but he wasn't there. Sheila and Charles thought that he forgot that they were supposed to come his cottage, and they went to his cottage by their own.  Following the map that Paul draw for them, they arrived the cottage, but there was unknown men and Paul wasn't there. They thought that there was something wrong and were worried about him.  After a few hours later, they found that the robbery were in his cottage and Paul's han
