Wolf Fables

I read "Wolf fables" written by Pie Corbett

What a clever disguise! The shepherd would never guess. The wolf could eat the sheep one by one without anyone knowing.
The wolf felt his belly rumble!

This book has three different stories.

①The main character in this story is a wolf. He was very sly, and he wanted the sheep to satisfy his appetite. He was so smart that he came up with a method. He would use the wool of the sheep that had fallen under the tree to pretend to be a sheep and eat them one by one without being noticed. He actually did it, but it wasn't as easy as he hoped it would be. The shepherd made a plan to choose one of the sheep to eat for the dinner. And the sheep chosen was the one that the wolf had covered with wool. Because it was thought to be a sheep, the wolf was killed, but the shepherd was relieved to be able to save the rest of the sheep.

②Wolves do and are not considered trustworthy animals, as evidenced by Little Red Riding Hood and the story of the three little pigs. Doesn't that apply to humans? Once upon a time there was a young boy shepherd. Every day he has to come to the hills and spend his time in the boredom of caring for his sheep. One day he began to make a fake shout that a wolf was coming in order to take his boredom out of his mind. He was funny about the people who were upset with the wolf. And he found this was so amusing that he repeated it over and over again. And. This caused the villagers to lose faith in him. One day, a real wolf came to attack his sheep. Although he shouted big voice,  no one came to help.

③The main characters in this story are a wolf and a goat. One day, the wolf fell into a large, deep pond. He was unable to get to the ground, even though he was flapping his legs. Then a goat came by. The smart wolf lied to the goat and said that the water was very tasty, so he encouraged the goat to jump into the pond. The goat was so thirsty that he jumped in immediately. But, like the wolf, the goat could not return to the ground. Then the wolf makes a suggestion. "I'll go up first and save you," he said. And the goat believed him, and he put the wolf on top of him and saved the wolf first. What a poor goat! The wolf didn't help and turned his back on the goat.

After these stories, I could three Moral of the tale. First, "Do not pretend to be something that I am not". Secondly, "If I keeping on lying then in the end no one will believe you- even if I am telling the truth." And the last one is "Always look and think before I leap." This book have short different story, so at first I thought it wouldn't not good for me. But it is not. This story have many words that I don't know the meaning, so this is really good for me.
